Terms and Conditions – Scotland & NI event map competition

By participating in the competition you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by Eden Project Communities [Eden Project Ltd].

Eligibility to Enter

The competition is open to residents, groups, schools, communities, streets, neighbourhoods or projects [hereafter referred to as ‘community’] in Scotland and Northern Ireland only.

The application must be from a person over 18 years of age, and resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Eden Project Communities’ employees and associates are excluded from the draw.

There is a limit of one entry per ‘Big Lunch’, the competition is completely free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

The Prizes

There will be 100 winners each receiving £20 worth of shopping vouchers in Northern Ireland to purchase food and other items for their Big Lunch.

There will be 100 winners each receiving £25 worth of shopping vouchers in Scotland to purchase food and other items for their Big Lunch.

The use of specific brands as prizes by Eden Project Communities does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

Eden Project Communities’ decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

How to enter

The competition will close at midnight on 10 May 2024 Eden Project Communities reserves the right to extend this deadline if deemed necessary.

Winner Selection

The winners will be selected at random on 13 May 2024 and will be notified using the contact details provided on the map entry 24 May 2024.

Eden Project Communities will make three attempts to contact the winners via the details provided.

If after three attempts to contact, a winner has not responded, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Eden Project Communities reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of the Prize

The prizes may be delivered over the period of 13 May through to 29 May 2024.

Data Protection and Publicity

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Eden Project Communities for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

All entrants may request the name of the winning community by emailing communities@edenproject.com.

Limitation of Liability

Eden Project Communities accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

General

Eden Project Communities reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
